I recently graduated from the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at Shafston. The course was so useful, it gave me all the knowledge of early education and care, and the skills to build relationships with staff. I have been working in a childcare centre for a few months and really enjoy the experience. I believe that the course at Shafston was practical and provided me with all the knowledge for my new career.
I completed the Certificate III in Information Technology at Shafston. The course gave me practical skills in IT support, networking and cyber security, and the trainers were always happy to help when I got stuck. Studying with classmates from so many countries also improved my communication and teamwork. The skills I learnt have given me the confidence to start my career in IT.
I always dreamed of working with children, and Shafston helped me get there. The trainers were patient and helpful, and after my placement, I was offered a part-time role at a nearby childcare centre. It’s a small team, but it feels like family.
