To enrol, applicants must be at least 16 years old, complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment, and have adequate English proficiency (Australian Core Skills Framework level 4 or higher). Industry experience is not necessary but is recommended. Learners need minimum computer literacy, access to Microsoft Office 365 and unrestricted internet, the ability to record assessments, and a Unique Student Identifier (USI) at enrolment. The Diploma of Leadership and Management is a solid foundation for learners who wish to deepen their understanding of leadership and management and pursue higher education, including other relevant qualifications. Learners may possess prior knowledge and skills that align with the course curriculum, particularly those already working in industry. Our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process enables individuals to gain credit for these competencies, which may reduce the course duration.

Is it worthwhile to pursue a Diploma of Leadership and Management?
Absolutely. This course offers a solid foundation that can open up numerous opportunities, providing valuable skills and knowledge that can be applied across various levels of an organisation.

What is the difference between a Certificate I, II, III, IV and Diploma?
Certificates I and II provide fundamental vocational skills for routine work. Certificates III and IV offer more advanced skills. A Diploma is a level 5 qualification for advanced skilled work, covering integrated technical and theoretical concepts, and can be credited towards university study.

What is the assessment process?
A blend of knowledge-based questions, hands-on case studies and practical activities. There are no conventional exams.

What is the certification process?
On successful completion, learners receive a nationally recognised Diploma of Leadership and Management. Partially completed courses receive a Statement of Attainment for the units satisfactorily completed.
